Generics market to surge to $45 billion by 2005?
| A leading global equity analyst Credit Suisse First Boston ( Honkong) Ltd , CSFB, in a recent study has predicted huge generics market amounting to as high as $45 billion by 2005 since a number of valuable drug molecules are coming out of the patent validity period - 15 of the 35 significant molecules. Obviously the interested companies will have to be equipped and prepared to handle such ANDA ( abbreviated new drug application) cases to overcome the highly regulated markets such as US.
