China in better form to face WTO even before joining ?


 

According to Dr Yerrum Raju of ASCI, Hyderabad, China is more prepared to the WTO challenges and oppurtunities than India today. Whereas the Chines knew where they stood vis-à-vis WTO, India is yet to devote her attention on commodity markets, tariffs, demand estimates and its investments on market promotion and development. About the TRIPS and related national efforts including even the modernization of patent offices, one knows, the less said the better.
