Approval Committee under Ministry of Environment & Forests has asked
Mahyco to ‘repeat’ the open field trials of its transgenic Bt cotton and
conduct the same under the direct supervision of ICAR. It is well known
that ICAR has perhaps the best S&T set-up to undertake such tasks in
India.
