Glaxo wins case against UP company.

According to PTI, Glaxo has got exclusive right to manufacture and market one of its most popular animal feed under the trade marks "Ostocalcium" and "Ostocalcium Vet" after a protracted battle with the Lucknow based Spain Pharmaceutical which was manufacturing a similar one under the trade mark " Aestocalcium Vet". As per the recent amendment , violation of Trademark is punishable under the criminal offence. Is this the first infringement case in the "New IPR Regime" ? |
