| Centre for Cellular and
Molecular Biology , a celebrated R&D centre under CSIR, has developed
a simple transgenic fly - Drysophilla system having thereby a new
method to screen and validate a class of drugs targeted against certain
types of cancer. According to its Director Dr Lalji Singh, this has immense
potential and has already started attracting wide attention of the user
agencies.
